Greetings,
We have couple of new positions on an existing project. This is a great project which has potential to go on for a few years. We already have a great presence on this project and an excellent working relationship with the client.
Role:
Senior Java/JEE Developer
Brief summary:
Developers dream in terms of technical stack: Java 6, Seam ( JSF, EJB 3) open source all the way (you get to develop on Ubuntu). And the team is full of cool, switched on dudes and dudesses (yes it’s a real word http://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/dudesses) . Question is can you handle the challenge? If you haven’t heard of bijection or Gavin King is not your best friend, don’t worry you might still have a chance. But, only if you apply. So answer the questions in the selection criteria, and send me your resume. And the best bit is that we’re a no nonsense tech-friendly, small recruiter bound to survive a recession. We only charge $4/hr, no strings attached.
Selection criteria:
•Be well versed in object oriented design and development, including a well developed understanding of design patterns, UML and iterative/agile development methodologies.
• Demonstrated ability to review and build software components using Java/JEE, JSF and custom software components. Experience in any of the following technologies would be highly regarded: Unix, Linux, Eclipse, JBoss SEAM, Java Server Faces (JSF), Rich Faces and PostgreSQL.
• Experience with complex software requirements and be able to apply their knowledge of software development within an enterprise environment using industry and Government standards and best practice.
• Demonstrated experience with software quality assurance methods including: unit testing, regression testing, peer code reviews and defensive programming.
• Operate flexibly within a small multi-disciplinary team using excellent communications skills combined with strong analytical, problem solving and documentation skills.
This is a cool job. In fact it's so cool I might apply myself if I only knew what bijection was:)
call if you have any questions or wana chat about how Seam is the only Java framework that kick rails craze arse.
Cheers,
h.
